There are multiple reasons why your gums can hurt. Basic thing is when some food is stuck or maybe something sharp is stuck onto your tooth and this may result in gum pain or it can be infection that can cause gum pain. Food lodgements, spacing. There can be decay in between two teeth and food can get lodged and you can have gum pain gum pain in turn can also feel like a tooth pain. For patient they may radiate and cause inconvenience. Ofcourse if you have deposits and if you don’t maintain well ad if you don’t brush or floss . So you may have issues with gums or bleeding gums that can cause gum pain. How to manage this is there are multiple treatments that can be done. First while having food, sometimes it is inevitable that you have something poking your gums like fish bones or jeera or spices that we use. However it is better that a periodontist looks into your gums, and cleans it and if it is maintained well, then a gum pain shouldn’t be caused and if there is some clinical procedure that needs to be done like oral prophylaxis or root planning or if there is an infection or abscess is there in the gums then probably we may have to drain the abscess to relieve the pain.

If this describes you, you may be suffering from occipital neuralgia. This painful condition occurs when the occipital nerve that runs from the base of your skull becomes injured, inflamed or irritated. If you suffer from osteoarthritis, diabetes or have had a head injury or cervical disc disease, you may also experience occipital neuralgia. Unfortunately, occipital neuralgia is often misdiagnosed as migraine or another type of headache due to the similarity of symptoms.
Stroke is the fifth-leading cause of death in the U.S. and a leading cause of disability, according to the American Stroke Association.
To recognize symptoms, leading stroke experts recommend memorizing an easy-to-remember acronym:
FAST!
Face (drooping of the face)
Arm (arm weakness)
Speech (slurred speech)
Time (time counts — call 911 immediately)
Cedars-Sinai has been designated a Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.
This advanced certification for comprehensive stroke centers recognizes the significant resources in staff and training that these centers must have to treat complex stroke cases. Cedars-Sinai was proud to be among the first five hospitals in the nation, and the first in Southern California, to receive this designation.

Andrew Greenberger, DMD, a participating Delta Dental dentist, explains periodontal (gum) disease — the causes, the symptoms and treatments, and how it can affect overall health. Video Rating: / 5
Dr Joseph Nemeth gives 10 tips to reduce swollen gums at home. Gum swelling is a very common problem and can be a sign of gingivitis or periodontal disease, otherwise known as gum disease.
There are a number of things that can cause swollen gums.
The most common cause of gum swelling is gum disease, gingivitis, or periodontitis. This is caused by bacteria that get between the teeth and the gums and cause an infection that usually causes the gums to swell.
Another cause can be poorly fitting dentures or partials that can actually irritate the gum tissue.
Medications can also cause swollen gums, particularly high blood pressure medications.
Sometimes an individual can be sensitive to certain toothpastes or the ingredients in toothpastes. That can cause the gums to swell.
Another cause could be food particles, the most common culprit is popcorn kernels. Any foods that can easily get stuck between the tooth and the gum and can cause the gums to swell. It can actually cause bone destruction and contribute to gum disease.
Smoking or vaping can cause swollen gums. What happens is the nicotine in the tobacco product causes a constriction of the blood vessels and can cause the gum tissue to be malnourished which can contribute to gum swelling and even gum disease.
The #1 cause of gum swelling is gingivitis and periodontal disease. Also, not brushing and flossing the teeth properly and thoroughly can be a major contributing factor to gum inflammation.
So what can we do to treat swollen gums at home?
1. Thorough brushing and flossing will go a long way to reducing your problem.
2. Consider switching to a firmer toothbrush. A harder toothbrush will clean more thoroughly and and will stimulate the tissue to promote the flow of blood to the area.
3. Start using a Waterflosser or Waterpik. Start out on low pressure and build it up to the highest pressure.
4. Speak with your physician about switching your medication. You want to find a medication that is a non calcium channel blocker.
5. Try switching toothpastes. Depending on the individual certain toothpastes can cause irritation, erosion and gum swelling. If you still have a problem, try using no toothpaste at all.
6. Get a dental cleaning! A thorough dental cleaning will go a long way towards treating gum swelling.
7. Avoid tobacco products. Particularly chewing tobacco or snus. We have seen a number of patients who have destroyed their gum tissue from these products. It can absolutely contribute to swollen gums.
8. Avoid foods that get stuck between your teeth, like popcorn.
9. If your teeth aren’t tight together, consider getting a filling or cleaning that area properly so that food does not get stuck in there and contribute to gum swelling.
10. If none of these options work, look into having your gingivitis or periodontitis treated! We use a laser, which is not painful, to treat the swollen gums and get rid of the gum disease.
Swollen gums are almost always a sign of an unhealthy situation. We want your mouth and your body to be as healthy as possible. If your mouth is not healthy, you are not going to be as healthy as you could be.
Try to treat your swollen gums at home, but if this is not possible we would love to help you!

By watching this video it’ll demonstrate just how easy is it to make a tired golf club, look refreshed. The G-Paint application is extremely simple, no skill or artistic ability is required. Just apply the paint and wipe off the excess, you can use tissue with white spirit or a great tip for shallow or hard to reach graphics, is to use your finger to clear a good percentage of the excess paint.

Finger pain and hand pain can be caused by many things including hand and finger arthritis, circulation issues, an injury, or just achiness in the joints. These 7 treatments should help. Purchase the iPalm 520s here: https://amzn.to/2SBS87y (affiliate link)
Finger, thumb, and wrist range of motion movements are a great way to relieve pain in the hands and fingers. Make sure you are going through the full range of motion.
Massaging the fingers, hand, and palm area is also a great way to not only relieve pain, but also improve circulation, blood flow, and sensation to the area.
Finger extension stretches do a great job of working the joints of the fingers closest to your hand, which often are the most painful.
You can also use a custom hand massager for pain relief like the Breo iPalm 520s. It uses pressure, heat and acupressure to increase circulation to help relieve pain in the hands and fingers.
The last two exercises help with finger flexion and extension. Having strong fingers help relieve the pain.
